Our 501c3 nonprofit Association is comprised of a variety of interconnected initiatives which together help us to meet our mission of renewing soil, society, and self by integrating agriculture, education, art, and research.

1,000-acre Demeter-certified Biodynamic® farm with dairy cows, pasture-raised beef, pork, and chicken, vegetables, CSA, and an organic creamery and bakery. The farm also has a presence at New York City greenmarkets.

Week-long stays on the farm for children from regional educational institutions through the Visiting Students Program, and Farm-to-Table Cooking classes for adults. Training for farmers is available through the Farm’s One-Year Diversified Farming Apprenticeship.

Full line independent organic natural foods and grocery store open daily 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m. The Farm Store serves as “the gateway to the farm” supporting on-farm educational programming.

Day and overnight farm camps for children ages 8-16, connecting them with the natural world while they learn the art of caring for animals and nurturing the earth.

Early childhood through grade 12 Waldorf day school with boarding and exchange programs for high school students.

Research and outreach program that fosters compassion for the ecological and cultural landscape of Columbia County, NY.

The Alkion Center provides opportunities for adults in Waldorf teacher education, foundation studies in anthroposophy, visual arts courses, and workshops throughout the year.

Combines research and practical initiatives to identify and implement solutions to modern day social problems, particularly the ethical use of technology.

A center for cultural renewal in the city of Hudson that stimulates dialogue around the inner and outer challenges of our time.
