Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School and the Farm Store are teaming up for a Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit food insecure families in our community. From now until November 20, 12pm, drop off non-perishable, unexpired food items in the boxes at the School’s Main Office or in the Farm Store by the registers. Donations will be delivered to the Mellenville-Philmont Food Pantry.
Most needed items include:
- rice
- beans
- pasta
- canned tuna & other proteins
- canned vegetables & fruit
- macaroni & cheese
- tomato sauce
- cereal
- oatmeal
- pancake mix & syrup
- peanut butter & jelly
- canned soup
- baby food
- baby formula
- pantry staples (flour, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, condiments, spices)
