Spring Wildflower and Nature Walk with FEP

Join Farmscape Ecology Program at Crellin Park for a nature walk. Participants will experience several habitats, including floodplain forest, and see how spring wildflowers distribute differently between them. This is a great opportunity to welcome back spring flowers, learn how to recognize different species, hear some of their lore, and observe their early insect visitors.

Mushroom and Ancient Forest Walk

During this mushroom walk with Josie Laing, we will be looking for and identifying mushrooms while discussing the role of fungi in forest ecosystems. Josie will also share some of her preliminary observations from the ongoing pilot study comparing ancient and post-agricultural forests. Read more here.
