Billie Chernicoff
Billie Chernicoff is the author of five collections of poetry, most recently Minor Secrets, (Black Square Editions, 2022) and Amoretti (Lunar Chandelier Collective, 2020). She edited a magazine of new writing called Salt in 2021, and before that co-edited a The Doris, a magazine of poetry and translation, for five years. She lives in Catskill, New York, in the Hudson Valley.

Evelyn Reilly is a New York-based poet, scholar, and environmentalist. She has long been searching for ways that poetry might help counter the destructive alienation that has brought the human species to such a disastrous relationship with the rest of the natural world. Her books include Styrofoam, Apocalypso and Echolocation, all of which are published by Roof Books. Her poetry has appeared in many anthologies, among them The Arcadia Project: Postmodernism and the Pastoral, Big Energy Poets of the Anthropocene, The &NOW AWARDS 2: The Best Innovative Writing, and Poetics for a More-than-Human World. Her work is also included in the Feral Atlas: The More-than-Human Anthropocene, a multimedia compendium of work by scientists, thinkers, poets and artists. She is a member of the Steering Committee of the climate activist group 350NYC.

Stacy Szymaszek
Stacy Szymaszek is the author of eight books of poetry, most recently The Pasolini Book (2022). Her book Famous Hermits will be released in early 2023.

She is the recipient of several awards and grants, including the Foundation for Contemporary Arts Grant to Artists-Poetry 2018. Formerly the Executive Director of The Poetry Project at St. Mark’s Church, she is now the Development Director here at Hawthorne Valley.
