Creamery Manager Jeremy Shapiro

On Saturday, April 21, Creamery Manager Jeremy Shapiro will represent Hawthorne Valley at this exciting event in celebration of Raw Milk Cheese Appreciation Day. “Raw: An American Artisan Cheese Celebration,” will be held at 61 Local Bar & Restaurant in Brooklyn, NY (61 Bergen St.), from 7-9:30 p.m. Jeremy will participate in “a panel discussion with some of the Northeast’s most prominent raw milk cheese makers: The Cellars at Jasper Hill, Hawthorne Valley Farm, and Consider Bardwell moderated by Jessica Sennett (Founder of Cheese Grotto and Co-Founder of Call Me Caramel).” The panel discussion will run from 7:30-8:15 p.m., and will be followed by a Q&A session.

Farm To People will present raw milk cheese and curated pairings for sampling, including Hawthorne Valley’s raw milk Alpine.
