School Director and Block Teacher

After completing an 8-year loop as a Waldorf Class teacher, Karin has transitioned fully into her role as School Director. She continues to teach humanities blocks in the Middle School. Karin attended the Alkion Center’s Teacher Training Program. She holds a B.A. in History from the University of Pennsylvania, an MA in International Affairs from the University of Washington, and an Masters Philosophy in Religious Studies from Columbia University. Her teaching experience ranges from kindergarten to the university level, including teaching English at the Seattle Refugee Resettlement Program, and at the Telc Gymnazium in the Czech Republic. Karin’s passion is teaching History and Humanities to all grade levels.
