On December 16, 2016, Executive Director Martin Ping successfully completed the inaugural Hudson Valley Good Work Fellowship following an intensive six months of collaborative learning and engagement with a committed community of entrepreneurs, local leaders, and place makers who are building towards a regenerative and equitable Hudson Valley. Martin shared his thoughts about the experience:

In June of 2016, I embarked on a six-month odyssey with 33 fellow participants in the inaugural cohort of the Good Work Institute of the Hudson Valley. Getting together every other Thursday in different locations throughout the Hudson Valley provided a rich landscape for a learning journey of discovery. Every session was an opportunity for surprise, and I felt privileged to be inspired by the eclectic group of artists and entrepreneurs that constituted our cohort. The shared imaginations, intentions, and commitments of all gave rise to an elevated awareness of the emergent ecosystem of collaboration that will be foundational in co-creating a vibrant future for the Hudson Valley. I enthusiastically look forward to the good work ahead!
