Hawthorne Valley’s Farmscape Ecology program has selected beautiful destinations for these free, guided winter ecology walks. These walks are an opportunity to observe the winter life in our landscape. Depending on the conditions, we might have a closer look at mosses, lichens, the dried remains of wildflowers, tree bark and twigs, and/or signs of animal life. Come dressed for the occasion and dive into the winter world!
