Please join us for this free winter ecology walk guided by Conrad and Claudia Vispo at Hand Hollow State Forest in New Lebanon. This walk will be an opportunity to observe the winter life in our landscape. We will traverse a variety of forest types, do some detective work concerning their history, and, depending on the conditions, we might have a closer look at mosses, lichens, evergreen ferns, the dried remains of wildflowers, tree bark and twigs, and/or signs of animal life. Come dressed for the occasion, and dive with us into the winter world! Please register here to reserve your space and get directions.
