Lightforms Art Center Painting Exhibition
Lightforms Art Center proudly presents a rare large-scale public exhibition of the work of Gerard Wagner (1906-1999). Wagner, an German-born English painter, based his art on the ideas of Rudolf Steiner (1861–1925), the founder of anthroposophy. This landmark exhibition will feature around 30 of Wagner’s paintings spanning from the 1940s through the 1980s.
Join us on Friday, May 16 at 6pm for the opening reception. Hans Schumm will be giving at talk at 7pm.
This exhibition is presented in collaboration with Rudolf Steiner Library and the Gerard Wagner Foundation. There will be special events, including eurythmy and lectures, throughout the duration. Please visit Lightforms website for more information!
This project is made possible by a grant from the Fund for Columbia County of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation as well as by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
