Join us on Thursday afternoons as we learn a new pattern every week. Learn the history of quilt making, create unique family heirlooms and see why quilting is truly an American art. Piecing may be done by hand or machine, depending on your comfort, interest and age level. At the end of the class you will have a sampler quilt top or 8-10 squares from which to make a quilt, pillows, clothes, etc. Children are welcome. Especially young (5-8) children or children inexperienced to handwork should have an adult with them.
Bring: Scissors, needle and thread, fabric if you have some and a sewing machine if you desire. We will have lots of fabric too, so don’t worry if you don’t. Come and enjoy.
Class fee: $5-15 per class ($50-$150 total) Let us know if you need scholarship assistance.
You must pre-register for all classes and events
