FEP Phenology Walks at Lindenwald

In partnership with the Martin Van Buren Historic Site, Anna Duhon of the Farmscape Ecology Program, will be leading three free walks at Lindenwald that will visit trees that are part of the park’s recently re-launched “phenology trail,” and talk about changes in the timing of leafing out and flowering (phenology) of these trees that have been observed year-to-year and over the centuries. The walk will hopefully include chances to see the late-flowering blooms of the American Basswood (“linden”) trees that are the namesake of Lindenwald.
