Caroga Lake Music Festival is excited to once again perform their final concert of the summer at Hawthorne Valley School (HVS) Hall on Sunday, August 19, at 6 p.m. They will perform an eclectic program with a mix of genres from classical to gypsy jazz to pop. The concert is free and open to the public. Donations gratefully accepted at the door.
Presented by Caroga Arts Collective, Caroga Lake Music Festival, a summer music festival based in Caroga Lake, New York, is a series of performances and community outreach events in the Adirondacks (NY), Hudson Valley (NY), New York City and beyond. Attracting audiences locally and nationwide, Caroga Lake Music Festival is dedicated to increasing accessibility to chamber music, cultivating creative and interactive experiences and showcasing some of the world’s top professional artists from the U.S. and abroad.
The multi-genre programming makes this festival unique and exciting; from classical music to contemporary music and from small ensembles to orchestras.
Cellist Julian Müller, an HVS alum (’11), has concertized extensively as soloist, recitalist, chamber musician and orchestral player in the United States and Europe. He has performed in concert halls such as, Alice Tully Hall, Carnegie Hall, the Mozarteum, Ozawa Hall, the Rudolfinum, and Severance Hall.
