HVA carries out its mission through the organization’s initiatives, which include: Hawthorne Valley Farm (encompassing our CSA, Farmer Training, the Farm Store, Place-based Learning Children’s Programming, and the bakery, creamery and fermentation cellar), Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School, the Farmscape Ecology Program, Alkion Center for Adult Education, The Institute for Mindful Agriculture, Adonis Press, The Center for Social Research, Free Columbia, and Walking the dog Theater. Donor contributions enable us to uphold HVA’s mission to cultivate a vibrant learning environment within the context of regenerative land stewardship.
