Columbia County’s First Winery. Since opening in 2007 the winery has received numerous awards for its wines. The tasting room features a large selection of locally produced gourmet products including many artisanal cheeses.

History & Art


Olana State Historic Site

5720 Route 9G, Hudson

Home and estate of Hudson River School painter Frederic Church; the 250 acre grounds are open year around 8am until sunset. Hiking, picnicking, birding, snow-shoeing and cross country skiing are available seasonally along with programs and special events. Recreational activities on the pond include fishing (with valid NYS fishing license and permit), kayaks and non-motored boats. Permits for these activities are available from the Site Manager’s office. Tours of the house are April – October Tuesday – Sunday and Monday holidays 10am-5pm (last tour at 4pm); November – March Friday – Sunday 11am – 4pm (last tour at 3pm). Vehicle Fee weekends April 1 – October 31 (refunded with the purchase of a tour ticket).


The Fields at Omi

100 acres dotted with internationally recognized contemporary sculpture. It offers established as well as emerging American and international artists unique possibilities to create and exhibit a broad range of large-scale work. The Fields’ mission is to expand the experience of what contemporary art viewed in a natural environment can be. The Fields Sculpture Park is open year round to the public during daylight hours. Plan at least one hour to visit all of the sculptures. A golf cart is available for handicapped use and bicycles are also provided. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy picnic facilities located throughout the park. Guided tours are available to groups of six or more. The Fields offers educational workshops and tours for school groups and other organizations.
