Our farmers and apprentices at Hawthorne Valley Farm are hard at work preparing for this year’s Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Growing Season! We can’t wait until the ground thaws and we can get out in the fields to grow beautiful vegetables for the first delivery in June. Sign up early to ensure you get 20 weeks of the freshest organic and biodynamic produce in your kitchen.

Why sign up early?
  • Help us plan ahead by getting a sense of who we are growing for!
  • Help the farm in winter months when cash flow is minimal. Receiving payment before the season starts helps us buy seeds, fix equipment, and hire apprentices.
  • Ensure you get a spot in our CSA to get 20 weeks of the freshest organic and biodynamic produce.

We are also excited to unveil our new CSA online store. Come spring, certain pick up sites will be able to add à la carte purchases to weekly orders. Eggs, yogurt, bread, etc—the world is your oyster (although at this point there is no oyster option). Hawthorne Valley’s CSA pick up sites include the farm, Inwood, Garden City, Riverdale, Rudolf Steiner School, and multiple Greenmarkets in NYC. As a CSA member, you receive a weekly share of farm-fresh produce, get to know the life of the farm, and deepen your relationship to your food.

We look forward to growing your food.
