GHENT, NY– Hawthorne Valley Executive Director Martin Ping will be leading one of the plenary sessions at this year’s Slow Living Summit in Brattleboro, VT. The summit will be from June 4 to 6 and will consider the connection between the arts and the meaning of slow living. Each plenary speaker has been paired with an artist who will give expression to the stories the speaker will be telling. Martin, partnered Seamus Maynard, Jonathan Talbott, and Jonah Thomas of the musical group Quiet in the Head, will be exploring how to find balance in life through his talk on “Soil, Soul, and Society: a Love Story in Three Movements.”
